Hello again and welcome back, this is Steve from the PAHouseLink.com team. Today we’re doing a video walkthrough on one of our coming soon foreclosure properties.
This one is 1746 Locust St, Norristown, PA 19401, which is located in the Boro of Norristown in Montgomery county, and is a part of the Norristown school district.
The neighborhood is close to transportation, shopping (Logan St Shopping Center), and The Elmwood Park Zoo. The transportation part is crucial because this house is only a short drive down route 202 to the biggest shopping center on the east coast, the King Of Prussia Mall!
This 2 story twin features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a huge detached 2 car garage. The interior square footage is 1296 and sits on a 3264 square foot lot.
Let’s get started shall we…
As we swing around the front of the house, we see the quiet neighborhood. Coming around the side here, we get a great view of the detached garage. Looks like it could use a power washing but otherwise it’s in great shape.
We’re entering the backyard here. This is the door into the garage and a shed to store lawn care equipment. The privacy of this house is incredible.
Moving inside , we get a good view of the living and dining rooms. That wallpaper may need to go.
Next we step into the kitchen. Check out that booth seating, genuine restaurant style. You may have noticed that every room on the first floor has a ceiling fan. This house has excellent circulation, especially during the hotter months.
Downstairs we see a mostly finished basement. This area could easily be turned into another living space or bedroom. That bathroom is huge!
Heading up to the second floor we get a good look at the first of 3 bedrooms. Yes, that is a window in the closet and it would also appear there is hardwood under the carpet.
Down the hall we head into the full bath, then check out the second bedroom. The only renovation this house really needs is a fresh coat of paint.
Finally we enter the master bedroom.
